Our Curriculum
 

Our Centre has embraced the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia - Belonging, Being & Becoming.  All interactions, experiences, activites, routines and events, planned and unplanned, that occur in our environment are designed to foster children's learning and development. 

Our focus being on play based learning: a context for learning through which children organise and make sense of their social worlds, as they engage actively with people, objects and representations.

EYLF has 5 learning outcomes designed to capture the integrated and complex learning and development of all children across birth to five years age range. 

The Outcomes are:

  • Children have a strong sense of identity
  • Children are connected with and contribute to their world
  • Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
  • Children are confident and involved learners
  • Children are effective communicators

The program is displayed in each room and parents are encouraged to provide information to assist in the development of the program.
