Quality Childcare
We continuously received a High Quality rating from the Childcare National Accreditation System during its existence from 1995-2011. We are now embracing the National Quality Framework and developing children's programs based on its Early Years Learning Framework - Belonging, Being & Becoming. In February 2013 we participated in our first Assessment and Rating process under the National Quality Framework and received our notice of rating in April.
Educators
Our team of 18 educators are dedicated and committed to the provision of quality child care. They hold either a Diploma in Children's Services or a Certificate 111 in Children's Services.
Healthy Eating
Our in-house cook ensures the provision of a nutritious and tasty menu, as well as adhering to the Food Safety regulations. We have embraced the Victorian Prevention and Health Promotion Achievement Program since its inception in June 2012. This award recognises our commitment to improving children's health and wellbeing. We participated in February 2013 with the Healthy Eating Advisory Service – a part of Nutrition Australia, to have our menu assessed and we are pleased to inform that we successfully meet the Menu Planning Guidelines for long day care.
Management
Endorsed by Community Child Care Association as being 'Proudly Community Owned' in 2006. Our passionate manager, who possesses over 30 years' experience in child care, is responsible to the Committee of Management.
